The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. the breakfast kitchen staff were lovely and the breakfast itself was excellent. the location was also great, with easy access to nearby attractions. One of the best aspects was the lovely little swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a long day in the sun.
The shared bathrooms were not very clean, though this may be due to poor design rather than the cleaning staff. there wasn't much of an atmosphere as there were no organized activities and people tended to sit far apart.

I recently stayed at Hostal Lazybones for a few days during my visit to Leon. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The hotel offered a variety of breakfast options, including típico, granola, and pancakes, all at a reasonable price. They also had a large pool in an open and spacious area. I appreciated that I could buy drinks on my room's tab, and the fact that they used recyclable glass bottles. Additionally, there were laundrettes conveniently located nearby.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

I had such a great value for my money at this hostel. The room was comfy with a strong fan, and there were hammocks everywhere. The location was prime, close to the baseball stadium and within a 5-minute walk to most things. The staff at Hostal Lazybones were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving me updates on my requests and providing more options for volcano climbing tours. I felt so appreciated and will definitely be back on future visits.
The only thing that could make the breakfast offerings better is adding more variety.

The hostel provided free internet access, which was very convenient for staying connected. the location was great, being a few blocks away from the main center, ensuring a quieter and more peaceful stay. Another advantage was the refreshing and clean swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a long day.
The hostel lacked a kitchen for guest use, which was a disappointment for those looking to cook their own meals. the staff could have been friendlier and more helpful, as there were instances of miscommunication and unprofessional behavior.

the pool at Lazybones was a game-changer in the scorching heat of Leon. A refreshing oasis that saved us from the sweltering temperatures. The friendly atmosphere and sociable vibe made our stay even better. Highly recommended for couples or those in their thirties!
No night lights made midnight bathroom trips a challenge.
